Description
This lot comprises an arched overmantel mirror in the French provincial style. The frame is constructed from wood and molded composition, featuring a distressed off-white painted finish. The design incorporates a central scrolled foliate crest at the apex, with corresponding rococo-style foliate cartouches at the lower corners. The mirror is supported by a flat, molded plinth base. The mirror plate is clear and free from visible foxing or silvering loss.

Condition report:
The mirror plate appears in good condition with no visible foxing or blooming. The frame shows minor wear to the painted finish, including small scuffs and darkened areas consistent with a distressed decorative treatment. There are small chips visible on the edges of the lower foliate carvings (photo 1). Light surface dust is present on the base plinth.
