Description
Two abstract artworks comprising an oil painting on canvas and a modern photographic print mounted on a metal panel. The first piece is an expressionistic oil painting on canvas featuring vertical, layered brushstrokes in a palette of blues, greys, and muted tones with accents of red and green. The canvas is signed in the lower-left corner with painted characters reading Gettel followed by several less distinct characters. The second item is a large-format photographic print titled Golden Vibrations (shows damage), depicting a pattern of diagonal shimmering orange and yellow lines. The reverse of this piece consists of a brushed metal panel with an adhesive reference label featuring a thumbnail image of the work and the text Golden Vibrations. Handwritten text in black ink on the metal reverse reads GOLDEN VIBRATIONS, BARCELONA (SPAIN) 2005, 1/5 (G O V I D 1 – Φ 1), followed by a signature and the date 04-10-2006.

Condition report:
The oil painting is housed in a wide wooden frame showing significant weathered wear, including visible scuffing, finish loss, and several small chips to the wood (photo 1, 5). The painted canvas surface appears stable with no visible punctures, though there is minor surface grime consistent with age. The photographic print on metal shows minor localized abrasions and surface marks, including a small group of white scratches or loss of finish (photo 3) and smaller scattered nicks (photo 3). The reverse metal panel shows some light oxidation and two areas of adhesive residue where a label was previously removed (photo 4).
