Description
A five-tier open shelving unit constructed from teak-toned hardwood. The unit features a sectional design with five shelves supported by turned, tapered wooden spindles at each corner. The top shelf is finished with a deep moulded cornice, while the structure terminates in a block moulded base. Each shelf surface is inset with a dark grey-green textured material, providing a hard-wearing finish. The piece is a floor-standing unit intended for household storage and display. The wood exhibits a prominent grain throughout the frame and supports. The dark grey-green insets offer a contrasting colour to the warm tones of the timber frame. The sectional construction allows for the unit to be disassembled for transport.

Condition report:
The unit exhibits significant scuffing, scratching, and loss of finish to the wooden spindle supports (photo 3). Minor mottling and light surface wear are present on the inset shelf surfaces (photo 1 and photo 2). The structure remains sound.
