Description
This lot comprises a REMS 252046 SSM 160 butt welding machine for plastic pipes, integrated into a black steel transport and storage cabinet. The unit is designed for pipes with a diameter range of 40mm to 160mm and is powered by a 110V supply, making it suitable for site use. The machine features a built-in electric planer and a heating element controlled by an electronic interface with temperature adjustment settings. Included is a pull-out drawer containing an assortment of metal clamping inserts for various pipe diameters and a separate tripod-style pipe support stand.
A silver adhesive manufacturer’s plate is attached to the machine reading REMS, Typ 252046, 2019, 110 V~ 50-60Hz 1700 W, Ø 40-160 mm, Nr. 191500311, Stuttgarter Str.83, D-71332 Waiblingen Germany. The control panel bears the printed text ELECTRONIC with – and + symbols. A CE certification mark is present on the specification label. The cabinet is marked with the manufacturer’s name REMS in yellow paint and the identifier OMEGA-01 in white paint. The cabinet face also bears assorted handwritten chalk and marker notes including FFL-112.5 and 1225. The power cables are fitted with yellow 110V industrial plugs.
Condition report:
The equipment is in industrial service-worn condition. There is significant paint scuffing, loss, and superficial corrosion across the black steel cabinet base (photo 1). The interior of the machine and the accessory drawer contain plastic shavings and industrial debris from previous use (photo 6 and 7). The blue heating element shows surface marking and signs of thermal use (photo 3). All mechanical components appear present, but the unit is untested for operational functionality.
