Description
A collection of seven decorative bird-themed items, comprising carved wooden figurines. The group includes a large carved and painted wooden northern gannet in a downward pose, mounted on a natural-finish circular log; an Archipelago carved and painted wooden kingfisher on a small wooden stump, retaining a paper booklet tag; a carved and painted wooden razorbill auk on a rustic stump with a blue band on the beak; a dcuk (The Duck Company) carved and painted wooden penguin with an oval card tag; a small carved wooden bird with stylized blue scalloped wing decoration on a tall white-washed post; a polished hardwood decorative duck-themed dish or bowl with a handwritten tag marked 4933 R Wood; and a decorative bowl in the form of a pelican with an open beak, featuring a dark bronze-effect finish and textured feathering throughout.
Condition report:
The items are generally in good decorative condition. The large gannet shows visible surface scuffs and minor paint loss to the tail and wing edges consistent with display. The hardwood duck dish exhibits very minor surface scratches. The remaining items appear to be in good order without significant chips or visible repairs.
