Description
A collection of contemporary decorative animal sculptures and figurines. The group includes a Kaiser bisque porcelain figure of a dolphin riding a cresting wave, the underside bearing a blue underglaze crown over AK mark with Kaiser, Germany and impressed numbers 679 and 20, further marked with a gold printed limited edition stamp numbered 3143 of 4000, produced in Western Germany. Also featured is an Abigail Ahern cast metal octopus with a silvered pewter-effect finish, retaining its original black card retail tag. Included is a 4D Art Animal Forms stylized gorilla in a satin finish, accompanied by an original brochure and branded cardboard shipping box. The collection contains two pieces by Next: Portia the Panther, a seated figure encrusted with silver-toned reflective elements, and a textured zebra with monochrome geometric patterning and black fabric fringe mane and tail, both with original retail tags. Completing the group is a silver-toned resin sculpture of a sleeping cat with a faceted, hammered-effect surface.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall excellent condition. The Kaiser porcelain dolphin shows no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The Abigail Ahern octopus, Next panther, and Next zebra appear in original retail condition with tags attached. The 4D Art gorilla and sleeping cat are in excellent condition. The cardboard 4D Art box shows minor wear from storage.
