Condition report:
The items are in used condition with varying degrees of surface tarnish and oxidation. The earliest cigarette case shows moderate surface tarnish. The 1946 cigarette case exhibits significant heavy tarnish and dark oxidation patches to the exterior. Interior elastic retainers show loss of tension and wear. Surface scratches and minor indentations consistent with age and use are present throughout. Hinges and closure mechanisms appear to be in good working order. The powder compact retains its original internal components which show signs of use.
