Description
A pair of contemporary side chairs from the Academy collection by the Italian manufacturer Connubia. The set comprises two matching chairs featuring ergonomically shaped, translucent smoky-grey tinted moulded plastic shells. Each seat is mounted onto a four-legged tubular metal frame with a matte black finish, incorporating a rectangular support structure beneath the seat for stability. The shells are secured to the metal underframes via screw fasteners. An embossed mark is visible on the underside edge of each seat shell reading connubia, accompanied by a recycling symbol containing the numeral 4 and a circular production stamp.
Condition report:
The chairs are in used condition. There are visible surface scratches and light scuffing throughout the transparent plastic seats. The metal frames exhibit minor signs of wear and surface markings consistent with age and use.
