Description
A pair of contemporary dining chairs manufactured by Connubia, a division of the Calligaris Group. Both chairs feature the Academy model shell, constructed from a single piece of moulded translucent polycarbonate in an amber-orange tint. The shells are designed with a rounded backrest and a contoured seat. The lot includes two different base configurations: one chair is mounted on a black-finished frame with a central cross-brace, and the second chair is supported by a grey-finished tubular metal frame. The shells are attached to the bases with four visible mounting points. Each shell is embossed on the lower rear with the maker’s mark connubia and a triangular recycling symbol.
Condition report:
The chairs are in good used condition with light signs of wear consistent with age and use. Superficial scratches are visible on the seat surfaces, particularly under direct lighting. No cracks or structural damage observed.
