Description
This lot comprises an assortment of international motor racing ephemera, primarily spanning the late 1990s and early 2000s. The collection features several official event programmes, including the 1998 Formula 1 Grand Prix Player’s du Canada (Montréal), the 1999 F1 Grosser Preis von Österreich (Spielberg), and the 1998 British Grand Prix (Donington). Motorcycle racing is represented by the 2004 MotoGP Cinzano British Grand Prix official programme featuring Valentino Rossi on the cover. American stock car racing items include the 41st Official Souvenir Programme for the 1999 Daytona 500 featuring Dale Earnhardt. Supporting literature consists of softcover publications including The 1998 Yearbook: Formula 1, the January/February 1999 issue of Inside NASCAR featuring Jeff Gordon, and the Spring 1999 edition of Daytona Pit Stops Magazine. The collection also includes an issue of Inside Motoring (November 1995) and a further quantity of assorted motor racing magazines and related ephemera contained within a cardboard box.
Condition report:
The collection generally appears to be in good used condition. Observable wear includes minor shelf wear, light edge creasing, and occasional surface scuffing to the covers consistent with age and handling. Several of the programmes remain preserved in clear protective plastic sleeves. No significant tearing or major staining is immediately apparent to the items shown.
