Description
An assortment of vintage motor racing event programmes and ephemera, primarily dating from the mid-1980s to the mid-2000s. The collection includes a wide range of official programmes for various international motor racing series including Formula 1, Touring Car championships, GT endurance racing, and motorcycle racing. A significant portion of the collection focuses on the 1995 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season, with programmes for the San Marino Grand Prix (Imola), Spanish Grand Prix (Catalunya), Canadian Grand Prix (Montreal), French Grand Prix (Magny-Cours), and multiple copies of the Italian Grand Prix (Monza). A later 2006 Italian Grand Prix programme is also present. The touring car section features two official programmes for the James Hardie 1000 at Mount Panorama, Bathurst, for 1986 and 1987, alongside a 1995 FIA International Touring Car Series programme for the Donington Gold Cup. Endurance racing is represented by a 1995 Kärcher Global Endurance GT programme for Donington Park, featuring a McLaren F1 GTR. Motorcycle racing content includes an official programme for the 1989 Swan Premium Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island.
Condition report:
The items are in good to very good vintage condition. Most programmes exhibit light edge wear, minor corner creasing, and some retain original retail price stickers or small markings consistent with use at the events.
