Description
This lot comprises two Scalextric Sport limited edition electric slot cars in their original manufacturer packaging. The first item is a Renault R23 F1, car number 8, as driven by Fernando Alonso, featuring the team blue and yellow livery. This model is reference C2398A and includes a limited edition certificate card numbered 3352 of 7000. The car is constructed with a plastic body and rubber tyres. It is accompanied by its original box, an instruction leaflet, and a sealed packet containing spare guide braids. The second item is a TVR T400R (Tuscan 400R), car number 91, in the yellow and black DeWalt sponsorship livery as raced at Le Mans 2003. This model is reference C2453A and includes a limited edition certificate card numbered 1694 of 7000. The vehicle features a plastic body and rubber tyres. Both models are mounted on yellow display bases within their respective original branded boxes.
Condition report:
Both models are in excellent, potentially unused condition, remaining within their original boxes. The clear plastic inner covers and outer cardboard sleeves show only minor signs of shelf wear. Original retail price labels are still attached to the inner plastic covers. The Renault model is complete with its original manual and factory-sealed spare parts.
