Description
This collection of Canon photographic equipment comprises a Canon EOS 5000 35mm film SLR camera body manufactured from black polycarbonate. The camera is currently fitted with a Canon EF 38-76mm f/4.5-5.6 autofocus zoom lens with a 52mm diameter filter thread. Also included in the assortment are several manual focus components featuring the older FD mount system: a Canon FD 100-300mm f/5.6 telephoto zoom lens, a Canon FD 24mm f/2.8 wide-angle prime lens, and a Canon Extender FD 2x-B teleconverter. These FD-mount items are not natively compatible with the EOS EF-mount camera body. The lot is accompanied by an original English edition instruction manual for the Canon EOS 5000 and 5000QD. Additional accessories include a boxed Canon 34mm drop-in filter, a boxed Canon 48mm screw-in filter with a drop-in holder, various lens caps, and a camera neck strap. Storage is provided by a large black cylindrical leatherette lens case, a smaller leatherette case for the extender, and a blue padded soft carry bag.
Condition report:
The items are in fair to good cosmetic condition, showing visible surface dust and minor grime consistent with age and storage. The leatherette lens cases exhibit scuffing and some whitish residue. External optical surfaces appear clear; however, the internal elements have not been inspected for haze or fungus. All mechanical and electronic functions, including the shutter, light meter, and autofocus, remain untested. The collection is sold as-is.
