Description
This professional-grade photographic lot features a Canon T90 35mm film SLR camera body accompanied by a specialized ultra-wide-angle lens. The camera body, serial number 1024147, is constructed with a polycarbonate exterior over a metal chassis and was the flagship of the Canon manual focus FD system. The lens is a Canon Fish-eye Lens FD 15mm 1:2.8, providing a 180-degree diagonal field of view. This lens incorporates a breech-lock mount, an integrated petal-style hood, and a built-in internal filter turret with settings for SKY (Skylight), Y3 (Yellow), O1 (Orange), and R1 (Red). The aperture ring ranges from f/2.8 to f/22 with an A setting for programmed exposure. Accessories include a dedicated Canon slip-on front lens cap and a copy of the Canon T90 handbook by Richard Hünecke, published by Hove Fountain Books.
Condition report:
The camera body shows light cosmetic surface wear and dust accumulation consistent with age. The rubberised grip is intact and the PASSED inspection sticker remains on the top plate. The film chamber is clean and the horizontal-travel metal focal-plane shutter curtains appear flat and free of oil or physical damage. The front element of the fisheye lens appears clear with no immediate evidence of heavy scratching or fungus. Aperture and focus rings move freely. The camera is untested; the top LCD screen is blank as no batteries are currently installed (requires 4 x AA). Electronic functions, metering accuracy, and the shutter mechanism have not been verified.
