Description

A collection of assorted ceramics, decorative objects, and ethnographic figures across five cartons. The lot features a range of ceramic tableware, including several pieces of white ribbed earthenware bearing the printed green backstamp OF ETRURIA / MADE IN ENGLAND / WEDGWOOD / EDME / U.S.A. / DES. PATENT / 61296 / & BARLASTON. An Alsatian oval lidded earthenware terrine is finished in a honey-brown glaze with hand-painted floral motifs, marked to the unglazed base with a black printed stamp reading Poterie Hausser R. / 24, Grand Rue / SOUFFLENHEIM 67620.

Further ceramic items include a partial porcelain tea service with a light blue ombré glaze and gilded borders, and various dinnerware pieces featuring Imari-style transfer-printed floral designs and monochrome brown floral patterns. Decorative porcelain includes a cobalt blue tray with gilded fleur-de-lis patterns and a set of yellow-glazed plates. The lot also contains a group of assorted ethnographic and decorative objects, including a carved wooden bust, several Mesoamerican-style figures, three small framed mixed-media artworks featuring musical and heraldic motifs, and a blue box titled Imperial Collection.

Condition report:

The items are in good used condition. The Hausser pottery terrine shows visible staining and shelf wear to the unglazed base (photo 3). General surface wear, including minor loss to gilded highlights and occasional fine scratches, is evident across the various ceramic sets consistent with age and use. There are potential small nicks or fleabite chips to some earthenware edges due to bulk storage. The ethnographic figures and framed items appear intact with no significant visible damage.
