Lot 146:
Description
This lot comprises a contemporary dining table and chairs. The round table features a thick circular top with a light oak-toned wood veneer and is supported by a cylindrical pedestal base with vertical fluted or tambour-style detailing. The table top is detachable from the base, showing metal recessed fasteners and pre-drilled holes for assembly; fixings are required for the table top. The accompanying chairs are constructed with tapered wooden legs and curved backrests, with both the backrests and semi-circular seats upholstered in a light grey textured bouclé fabric. The design reflects a modern aesthetic with a focus on clean lines and textured materials.
Diameter 120cm.
Condition report:
The table top shows damage, including scuffing, chipping, and loss of veneer along the circumference of the edge (photo 4, photo 5, and photo 6). Several small surface indentations and shallow scratches are visible on the tabletop surface (photo 5). The fluted pedestal base and chair upholstery appear to have no visible faults.
