Lot 81:
Description
A pair of black acetate sunglasses in an oval frame style. The temples feature prominent gold-tone metal hardware in the form of the Triomphe logo and are secured with five-barrel metal hinges. The right temple interior bears a gold-printed mark reading CELINE PARIS 4-1.2 MADE IN ITALY followed by a CE mark. The left temple interior is printed with the model and sizing information reading CL40194U 01A 5222 145 *3 C. One lens is etched with CELINE PARIS near the upper edge. The sunglasses are accompanied by a black leather-effect fold-over case featuring a gold-printed mark on the exterior reading CELINE PARIS.
Condition report:
The eyewear is in used condition. There is a significant visible gouge and scuff to the upper outer rim of the right lens frame (photo 4). The acetate frames exhibit minor surface scratching and general wear consistent with use across both the front and temples. The gold-tone hardware shows light micro-scratching (photo 3). The branded case shows minor signs of wear and creasing to the material but remains fully functional.
