Description
A lot comprising two fragrance items from Diptyque. The first item is a jar candle housed in a translucent brown-tinted glass vessel with a black wooden lid that functions as a stand. The front of the glass is printed with a gold-tone oval label reading diptyque, 34 boulevard saint germain, AMBRE, and parisse. A silver-tone adhesive label on the base reads bougie parfumée, scented candle, 300g NET WT. 10.2 OZ., diptyque, 34 bd st germain 75005 paris, and made in france, positioned above five safety icons. The base also features a stamped mark reading SK292. The second item is an hourglass-style room diffuser consisting of two clear glass vessels joined by a central gilded openwork metal sleeve. The metal sleeve is engraved with the brand name diptyque and contains a yellow fragrance oil.
Condition report:
The candle is previously burned, with a depleted wax level and visible charring and soot residue to the interior glass and wick (photo 2). The silver-tone base label is worn with areas of peeling at the edges (photo 3). The diffuser is partially filled with oil and appears intact. Both items show signs of previous use.
