Description
This lot comprises two polished chrome Smeg kitchen appliances. The first item is a cordless electric kettle featuring a mirror-finish body, a domed lid with a push-button release, and an ergonomic grey handle. The exterior body bears applied lettering reading S, M, G, with the letter E missing from one side. It is fitted with a spherical lever-style on/off switch at the base and a power cord with a UK three-pin plug. A small white label is present on the underside, though the text is not legible.
The second item is a 2-slice toaster with extra-wide slots and a matching polished chrome finish. The side of the body features applied lettering reading S, M, E, G. It includes a browning control knob with a backlit button and a ball-lever lift mechanism. The underside features the manufacturer’s name Smeg impressed into the grey plastic base.
Condition report:
The kettle shows significant surface wear, including multiple scratches to the polished chrome finish, water spotting, and smudging (photo 1). There is visible residue and build-up around the base of the handle and the applied lettering (photo 2). The toaster displays fingerprints, smudging, and surface scratches across the chrome body (photo 1). Dark carbon and crumb residue are visible inside the slots and around the top heating area. The functional status of both appliances is untested.
