Description
A Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM tote bag constructed from brown monogram coated canvas with vachetta leather trim. The exterior features a gold-tone heat-stamp on one handle tab reading A. B. The interior is lined in Pivoine pinkish-red striped textile and includes a zippered pocket. An interior leather tab is heat-stamped in three lines reading LOUIS VUITTON / PARIS / made in France. The interior pocket is printed with a rectangular frame containing the text LOUIS VUITTON, two LV logos, ARTICLES DE VOYAGE, and MAISON FONDÉE EN 1854. The hardware is gold-tone brass, including an interior D-ring rivet embossed with LOUIS VUITTON in a circular arrangement and a zipper pull with an embossed LV logo. The bag is accompanied by a cream textile dust bag printed with LOUIS VUITTON in dark blue serif lettering.
Condition report:
The exterior monogram canvas is intact. The vachetta leather handles, top rim, and side laces show a medium honey-coloured patina with visible darkening, staining, and water spots, particularly at the handle bases (photo 1, 8). The interior textile lining shows heavy signs of use, including significant staining, debris, and darkening to the base panel (photo 4). There is visible fraying and wear to the interior seams and the edges of the zippered pocket (photo 5). The hardware exhibits tarnishing and loss of gold-tone plating, most notably on the interior D-ring and the zipper pull (photo 6, 7).
