Description
A carton containing a collection of assorted 12-inch vinyl records, primarily comprising independent rock, folk, and boutique film soundtracks from the 2010s. The lot features several releases from specialist labels including Death Waltz Recording Company and Mondo. Identified soundtrack titles include Cooties (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) by Kreng, featuring original cover art by Jay Shaw and mastered for 180g vinyl, and Abdullah (Original Soundtrack) by Antoni Maiovvi & The Karakura Orchestra, which includes a DVD and download card in a 350gsm sleeve.
Other identified titles in the collection include Jake Evans – Day One (with CD), Insense – De-Evolution, Fufanu – Few More Days to Go, and Ólöf Arnalds – Sudden Elevation. Further artists and titles present include Official Secrets Act – Understanding Electricity, Underground Railroad – Sticks and Stones (produced by John Goodmanson), Astrid Williamson – Requiem & Gallipoli, Marry Waterson and David A. Jaycock – Two Wolves, and Kathryn Williams & Anthony Kerr – Resonator. Many items in the group appear to be in their original shrink-wrap, with some titles specifying 180g or coloured vinyl pressings.
Condition report:
The majority of the items in this lot appear to be factory-sealed in clear shrink-wrap (photo 12). The external sleeves generally appear to be in Very Good Plus to Near Mint condition. Visible defects include minor blunting and light creasing to the cardboard corners and edges, likely caused by storage within the shipping carton (photos 1, 9, 10). The shrink-wrap on certain copies shows signs of splitting or pulling at the edges. The media has not been removed from the sleeves and is not inspected, but is assumed to be in Mint or Near Mint condition based on the sealed status of the jackets.
