Lot 1:
Description
A Persian Isfahan carpet featuring a central multi-lobed floral medallion in shades of rose, light blue, and sage green set upon an ivory field. The field is densely decorated with a Shah Abbasi pattern consisting of scrolling vines, palmettes, and perching birds. Deep blue spandrels frame the central field, surrounded by a wide rose-coloured main border with repeating floral sprays, enclosed by multiple guard borders. The carpet is constructed with a fine pile containing silk on a silk foundation, finished with a knotted silk fringe. A woven inscription cartouche is located within the lower fringe guard; it contains several vertical and curved characters in Persian script that are not legible as a specific name. The reverse of the carpet shows a high weave density of approximately 10 to 11 knots per linear centimetre.

Condition report:
The carpet is in good overall condition. There is minor, uneven wear to the pile consistent with light use (photo 1). The silk fringes are mostly intact, though they exhibit some unevenness and minor fraying at the ends (photo 2). No major stains, repairs, or structural damage are visible in the provided images.
