Description
A framed mixed media work on a textured support featuring a high-contrast, stylized portrait of the Spanish Civil Guard (Guardia Civil) in a palette of green, yellow, orange and black. The composition depicts a large central face and a smaller figure in the lower left, both wearing traditional tricorn hats. The verso features several handwritten inscriptions in black marker on the brown paper backing. These include the title ‘España’, the date ‘1981’, and a signature reading ‘T. Dellert’. Additional inscriptions on the reverse read ‘Aleje XYZ’ and ‘Stockholm’. The work is housed in a modern black glossy frame behind glass.

Condition report:
The artwork itself appears in good condition with no visible tears or losses to the face. There is visible adhesive tape residue and some tearing to the brown paper backing on the verso (photo 2). The black frame shows minor surface marks consistent with handling.
