Description
This lot comprises a painting by Christina Niederberger. The work, titled Chandelier – Millenium, is executed in oil and sand on board. The composition features a centrally positioned chandelier rendered in a heavy, gritty impasto that stands in relief against a flat, neutral cream-toned background. The reverse of the board bears a handwritten inscription in black marker reading Chandelier ‘Millenium’ and C. Niederberger 2003.
