Description
This lot comprises a Metro Air Force Blaster model B-3 high-velocity air blower. The tool is constructed with a cylindrical steel canister body finished in black paint, featuring a moulded plastic top handle secured by a metal bracket and an integrated toggle power switch. A long grey plastic ribbed hose is connected to the outlet with a metal worm-gear hose clamp. A black and silver rectangular label on the body is printed with METRO above a star graphic and Air Force Blaster, with technical specifications reading Model B-3 • 120 volts • 60 Hz • 9.5 amps. The black electrical cord is secured with a blue plastic cable tie and is fitted with a two-pin plug inserted into a white three-pin adaptor.
Condition report:
The unit exhibits significant surface rust and oxidisation to the end caps and handle bracket (photos 1 and 2). The black paint is heavily scratched and worn with widespread surface corrosion visible on the main canister (photo 2). The adhesive identification label is peeling and worn at the edges (photo 2). The grey flexible hose shows signs of heavy use, including two tape repairs near the nozzle end using black electrical tape and tan masking tape (photo 3). The unit is configured for 120V operation and is sold as untested.
