The instrument is an SG-style double-cutaway electric guitar featuring a solid wood body finished in transparent red. It has a bolt-on neck with a rosewood-effect fingerboard decorated with white trapezoid inlays. The headstock bears a printed white sans-serif wordmark reading STRETTON PAYNE positioned below a circular logo containing a stylized tree device. The guitar is fitted with two chrome-covered humbucking pickups, a black multi-ply pickguard, and chrome hardware including a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a stopbar tailpiece and six chrome tuning machines. Control is provided by four black and silver knobs labeled VOLUME and TONE, alongside a three-way pickup selector switch on a plate marked RHYTHM and TREBLE. The chrome neck attachment plate is blank. The lot includes a black fabric gig bag featuring a circular white print with the STRETTON PAYNE name and tree logo, a black guitar strap, and a clip-on digital tuner marked STRETTON PAYNE.
Condition report:
The instrument is in good used condition with some visible surface wear. A notable dark linear mark or surface scratch is present on the lower bout of the body behind the bridge (photo 2 and photo 3). General surface dust and light handling marks are visible across the body and headstock (photo 2). Minor scuffing is present on the edges of the headstock (photo 1) and the body (photo 4). The structural integrity appears sound and the hardware is intact, though the internal electronics and overall playability have not been tested.
