Description
A commercial single-door slimline reach-in freezer manufactured in the United Kingdom by Foster Refrigerator. The unit features a stainless steel exterior with an aluminium interior and is mounted on four heavy-duty casters for mobility. The interior is fitted with one adjustable wire shelf and integrated shelf supports. A digital temperature display and control interface is located on the bottom front panel. The unit is fitted with a power lead and UK 3-pin plug, though it is noted that there is no power supply unit for the power lead.
The adhesive manufacturer’s data plate located inside the cabinet reads Foster Refrigerator (a division of ITW Ltd) Oldmedow Road, King’s Lynn, Norfolk PE30 4JU, England with model number FSL400L and serial number E5349327. Technical specifications include a nominal capacity of 400 litres, R404A refrigerant (285 g mass), and a 230 V 50 Hz 1 phase plus neutral supply with 710 W input and a 10 A fuse. The plate also displays the CE mark, Climatic Class 5 rating, and a test pressure of 33 BAR. A green and black oval badge on the upper door is marked FOSTER over a globe graphic.
Condition report:
Exterior stainless steel panels show numerous surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents consistent with commercial use (photo 1). The aluminium interior shows surface oxidation and staining on the floor pan and lower walls (photo 2, 3). The door gasket is intact but exhibits visible wear (photo 2). The rear compressor compartment is missing its protective grille or panel, leaving components and wiring exposed (photo 5). Surface rust is present on the metal base frame, caster brackets, and internal mechanical parts (photo 5). The internal fan guard is present. This item is sold as seen and has not been tested for cooling performance.
