Description
A pair of Star Wars collectible mini busts featuring the characters Muftak and Kabe, produced by Gentle Giant Ltd. in 2010. These figures are based on the alien characters from the Mos Eisley Cantina scene in Star Wars: A New Hope. The Muftak bust is detailed with grey and white fur texture, featuring four distinct eyes, a smoking pipe, a blaster, and a translucent blue beverage. The Kabe bust depicts the character with brown fur, large ears, and a pig-like snout, dressed in a patterned orange shirt and a tan vest, holding a translucent yellow beverage. Both characters are mounted on circular black bases. Each base is printed with the manufacturer mark, character names, and the matching limited edition number 617 / 1400. The set includes the original Certificate of Authenticity numbered 617 / 1400, bearing logos for Gentle Giant Ltd. and The Official Star Wars Fan Club. The items are accompanied by the original black cardboard retail box, marked as Item No. 11621, and protective styrofoam inserts.
Condition report:
The two busts are in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs, and the paint application remains vibrant. The original black cardboard box exhibits moderate shelf wear, including scuffing and whitening at the corners and along the edges. The internal styrofoam packaging shows minor compression and surface soiling from use. The Certificate of Authenticity is well-preserved inside a protective plastic sleeve.
