Description
A pair of detailed cold-cast polyresin mini-busts depicting Jawas from the Star Wars franchise, manufactured by Gentle Giant Ltd. as part of the Star Wars 30th Anniversary collection in 2007. One bust features a Jawa holding an ionisation blaster, while the other shows a Jawa working on a droid component resembling a dome piece. The set is provided with an additional interchangeable hand piece holding a larger variant of an ionisation blaster. Both figures are mounted on integrated black circular bases. This set is a limited edition, specifically numbered 2181 of 7000. The items are housed in their original custom-moulded polystyrene protective insert and original pictorial card box. Documentation includes the original black Certificate of Authenticity card and a customer response card. The manufacturer’s label on the base of the box identifies this as Item No. 9071.
Condition report:
The busts appear to be in excellent, as-new condition within their original packaging. The polystyrene insert is intact. The outer cardboard box shows minor signs of shelf wear, including light scuffing to the black surface and very slight blunting to the corners. The plastic sleeve for the Certificate of Authenticity is present and remains attached to the polystyrene.
