A significant collection of vinyl records focused on 1990s East Coast and underground Hip Hop. The lot comprises assorted records in a cardboard storage box, featuring various influential LPs such as the 1997 US four-record set of Wu-Tang Clan – Wu-Tang Forever, Capone-N-Noreaga – The War Report, Common – One Day It’ll All Make Sense, Method Man – Tical, AZ – Doe Or Die, Busta Rhymes – When Disaster Strikes, and Redman – Dare Iz A Darkside. Also included are original soundtracks and compilations such as Soul In The Hole, America Is Dying Slowly, Russell Simmons Presents The Show, and Muggs Presents… The Soul Assassins Chapter I. The collection features a wide array of 12 inch singles and EPs from artists including A Tribe Called Quest (1nce Again, The Jam EP), Mos Def (Body Rock), Lord Finesse (Hip 2 Da Game), Ultramagnetic MC’s (The Four Horsemen), and Heltah Skeltah. Labels represented include Rawkus, Wild Pitch, Cold Chillin’, Jive, Gee Street, Illkid Records, and Big Beat. Many records appear to be original US pressings from the period of release, some retaining original promotional hype stickers and torn shrink-wrap.
