Description
This lot consists of two cartons containing a comprehensive collection of aviation-themed magazines, journals, and reference volumes, predominantly from the early to mid-2000s. The assortment features numerous publications from prominent UK aviation societies and publishers. Key titles include several issues of Air-Britain NEWS: The World Aviation News Monthly, with examples from 2004, 2005, and 2008, as well as Air-Britain Aviation World from 2007. The collection includes a stack of Hawkeye journals from the Gatwick Aviation Society and Stansted Aviation Society NEWS. LAAS International is represented by issues of Aviation News & Review. Also included are reference texts such as Jane’s Aircraft Recognition Guide and several publications from The Aviation Hobby Shop (tahs), including Military Transport Aircraft of the World, Airlines to Europe, and a copy of EURO REG (Current European Countries Civil Aircraft Registers) appearing to be in its original plastic wrapping. The lot is completed by various other thin-spined journals, pamphlets, and society newsletters focusing on aircraft registration, spotting, and aviation history.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good, used condition. The covers and spines show expected signs of minor shelf wear and light creasing appropriate for the age of the materials and handling. The items have been stored and organised within the two cartons.
