Description
This lot comprises three contemporary Italian-made dining chairs of varying designs by two renowned manufacturers.
The first item is a Calligaris Skin side chair in light blue. The chair is constructed from single-moulded polypropylene and features a minimalist design with a triangular-shaped seat and a rectangular open-back rest. The legs are integrated into the frame. The underside of the chair is marked with a logo consisting of three overlapping crescents and the text MADE IN ITALY.
The second item is a Bontempi Casa Mood chair. It consists of a curved bucket-form shell seat in off-white moulded polypropylene. The seat is supported by four splayed, tapered wooden legs which are secured to the base with metal brackets. The underside of the seat is moulded with the manufacturer details MOOD, BONTEMPI CASA, and Made in Italy, alongside a recycling symbol and date-stamp dials.
The third item is a Calligaris Skin armchair in dark teal. The chair is made from moulded polypropylene and features a wide, open-back rest with integrated curved arms that flow into the front legs. The underside is marked with calligaris, MADE IN ITALY, and a circular logo featuring a stylized figure.
Condition report:
The chairs are in good used condition with light surface scuffs and minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. Visible wear is present on the seat of the teal armchair. The wooden legs of the central chair show natural grain variations and minor marks near the feet.
