Description

A trio of contemporary Italian-designed bar stools of various styles, sold as an assembled group.

The first stool, positioned on the left, is a monobloc injection-moulded counter stool in an off-white or pale grey polypropylene. Manufactured by Calligaris, Italy, the design features a low backrest with a wide rectangular cutout and an integrated footrest. The reverse of the backrest features an embossed mark reading calligaris MADE IN ITALY beneath a circular emblem depicting a stylized bird silhouette.

The second stool, positioned in the middle, is an adjustable swivel bar stool with a mid-grey upholstered polyurethane seat. The seat shell features a horizontal oval cutout in the backrest and is supported by a central chrome-plated steel column with a gas-lift height adjustment mechanism, a circular footrest, and a heavily weighted circular base. A paper label on the underside metal framework reads P6050 2021/07 Made in Italy, and the underside of the plastic seat casing features an embossed logo showing three interlocking crescent shapes.

The third stool, positioned on the right, is a Galaxy model bar stool, designed by Archirivolto for Bontempi Casa. Constructed from moulded light taupe or beige polypropylene, it features a decorative open-work backrest with a branching geometric pattern, raised on four legs with an integrated front-and-side footrest. The stool retains its original clear plastic retail tag attached to the rear leg, which reads GALAXY design ARCHIRIVOLTO alongside the BONTEMPI CASA logo.

Condition report:

All three stools are in overall excellent contemporary condition, showing minimal signs of wear consistent with light showroom display. The moulded polypropylene frames and metalwork are free from major scratches, cracks, or structural defects, and the gas-lift mechanism on the central stool is fully operational.
