Description
A collection of vintage official race programmes for the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, primarily dating from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s. The assortment includes souvenir programmes for the Australian Grand Prix held at Adelaide for the years 1985, 1986, 1987, and 1994. European event programmes feature the 1992 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, the 1993 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps, the 1993 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, and the 1994 Spanish and British Grands Prix. A programme for the 1994 Brazilian Grand Prix is also included. These publications feature period-correct sponsorship branding including Marlboro, Foster’s, Pioneer, and Iceberg, with the Australian editions bearing the logo for Wheels magazine. The 1992 San Marino programme is presented in a protective plastic sleeve. Based on market research of similar lots, this carton may also contain assorted trading card sets such as the 1992 Grid Formula 1 collection.
Condition report:
The items are in good vintage condition showing light signs of age-related shelf wear and handling. Several programmes retain small retail price stickers to the front covers. Minor creasing and corner wear are present on some issues, consistent with trackside use.
