Description
A carton containing a collection of vintage hobbyist items and related ephemera. The lot features several Airfix Special Edition model kits, primarily 1:72 scale aircraft from Series 1 including the Bristol F2B 1917, Fokker DR1 1917, Airco DH4 1918, and R.A.F. RE8 1918, alongside a 1:32 scale 1930 4 1/2 Litre Bentley from the Historic Cars series. The collection includes an Acoms Techniplus AP-27MKV 2-channel digital proportional radio control system, complete with transmitter, receiver, servos, and original instruction manual, housed in original expanded polystyrene packaging. Additionally, the lot contains a shrink-wrapped copy of The 2002 Formula 1 Annual and a partially visible vintage radio control car kit box bearing a Beatties retail price sticker.
Condition report:
The collection shows various signs of age and shelf wear. Several of the model kit boxes exhibit crushing, edge wear, and age-related toning, with the Bentley box showing more significant damage and tearing. The Acoms radio control components appear well-preserved within their original packaging. The Formula 1 book remains in the original publisher\'s shrink-wrap. Contents have not been checked for completeness.
