Description
An assortment of die-cast racing models and slot cars from various manufacturers. The collection is headlined by a Guiloy 1/6 scale metal die-cast model of the Honda NSR 500 motorcycle in Valentino Rossi Team Nastro Azzurro livery, housed in its original packaging with internal polystyrene, marked Made in Spain. The group includes several boxed Scalextric and SCX slot racing models, featuring MotoGP motorcycles with riders for Max Biaggi and Loris Capirossi, and a 1/32 scale SCX Cooper Chevrolet. Further boxed die-cast models comprise a Minichamps Williams Renault FW16 (D. Hill), two Brumm Ferrari 126C2 models for Gilles Villeneuve, a ProSlot Alfa Romeo 156 (Giovanardi), and a vintage Strombecker Voiture De Course orange racing car. The lot also contains various cased and loose models, including a McLaren M23 by M.R.R.C. and a Ford GT40 in Gulf livery.
Condition report:
The models generally appear to be in good condition. Most items remain within their original retail packaging. Boxes show signs of shelf wear, including scuffing, minor creasing, and age-related discolouration to some plastic windows. Contemporary price stickers are present on several boxes. The large Guiloy box shows corner wear and small tears.
