Description
This lot comprises a pair of 1:32 scale electric slot racing cars manufactured by Scalextric, representing Ford Taurus vehicles from the 2001 PPI Motorsports NASCAR team. The first vehicle is the number 32 Tide sponsored car driven by Ricky Craven. The second vehicle is the number 96 McDonald’s Drive-Thru sponsored car driven by Andy Houston. Both models feature plastic bodies with authentic team liveries and sponsor decals, rubber tyres, and electrical components for track use. The items are contained within their original manufacturer packaging, consisting of a printed cardboard base and clear plastic display cover. The reverse of each box provides driver statistics and crew chief details. The clear plastic windows on both boxes bear a signature in silver-coloured ink, attributed to the respective drivers.
Condition report:
The slot cars appear to be in excellent, unused condition within their original packaging. The display boxes show minimal signs of handling wear consistent with age. Both boxes retain a fluorescent orange price sticker on the front right corner. The silver ink signatures are well-preserved and legible.
