Description
A group of four Scalextric 1/32 scale electric slot cars from The Power and the Glory series. These models feature plastic bodies with detailed driver figures and are presented in their original window display boxes with cardboard internal plinths. The collection includes a Vanwall (C.097) finished in British racing green with racing number 1 and a driver in a red helmet; a BRM (C.098) finished in British racing green with racing number 5, featuring chrome-effect exhaust pipes and a driver in a yellow helmet; a Bentley (C.305) 4.5 Litre Blower style model in green with racing number 5 and green wire-spoke wheels; and an Alfa Romeo (C.306) 8C style model in blue with red wire-spoke wheels. Each box carries the Scalextric logo and the series emblem with a laurel wreath. The underside of the boxes include barcodes and the specific model designations.
Condition report:
The cars appear to be in excellent, complete condition with all small parts, including windscreens and mirrors, appearing intact. The boxes show age-related shelf wear, including light creasing to the card, minor scuffing to the corners, and the presence of original retail price stickers. The clear plastic windows show some minor surface scratching and light denting but are generally clear. The mechanical function of the electric motors and pick-up braids has not been tested.
