Description
Manufactured by Scalextric, this is a pair of 1/32 scale slot cars presented in their original manufacturer special edition window display boxes. The collection consists of a Jordan Peugeot 197 and a Williams FW20. The Jordan Peugeot 197 is finished in a yellow livery featuring distinctive snake head nose art and sponsor decals including Total, Peugeot, S.Oliver, and MasterCard. The Williams FW20 is finished in a red livery with Williams and Castrol sponsor decals. Both cars are constructed with plastic bodies and rubber tyres, and each includes a seated driver figure. The Jordan model is housed in a yellow themed box bearing Jordan Grand Prix and Peugeot logos. The Williams model is presented in a red and yellow box, with the packaging indicating it is part of a limited production run of 5000 units. Both boxes retain original retailer price stickers on the front display windows.
Condition report:
Both cars appear to be in good, original condition with all decals and external components present. The original packaging shows signs of light shelf wear, including minor scuffing to the transparent display windows and light wear to the cardboard corners. The electrical and mechanical working order of the cars is untested.
