Description
A group of contemporary institutional school work desks manufactured by EME Furniture in Scotland. Each desk features a square-section tubular metal frame with a black finish. The work surfaces are finished in laminate, consisting of one desk with a blue top and several with a light beech-effect finish. Two of the wood-effect desks include integrated brown plastic storage trays mounted beneath the work surface. The underside of one desk bears a manufacturer label for eme furniture, Professional Furniture, Made in Scotland, and includes a batch number 049040. 56cm x 56cm.
Condition report:
The desks are in used condition with signs of classroom wear consistent with age and use. There are visible surface scratches and marks to the laminate tops, particularly to the blue surface. The metal frames and the edges of the laminate show signs of wear and scuffing.
