Description
A pair of Polaroid aviator-style sunglasses, model PLD2054/F/S. The frames are constructed from matte black-coated metal and feature a classic double-bridge design. The temples incorporate textured, cross-hatched detailing at the hinges and terminate in black plastic tips for comfort. The lenses are a dark grey or black tint and are identified as polarized by the brand logo and icon printed on the upper corner of the wearer’s left lens. The interior of the left temple is marked with the following specifications: PLD2054/F/S 003M9 62□12 140 3. This sequence identifies the model number, colour code (003M9), lens width (62mm), bridge width (12mm), temple length (140mm), and filter category (3). The sunglasses are accompanied by their original black presentation box, which features gold-tone lettering reading Polaroid and the tagline BEST UNDER THE SUN SINCE 1937. Condition report:
The sunglasses are in good overall condition. The lenses appear clear, though they may exhibit very fine surface scratches consistent with light use. The metal frames and temple tips show no significant signs of wear or damage. The presentation box displays minor surface scuffing and light shelf wear.
