Lot 81:
Description
A large three-seater Chesterfield sofa, constructed in the traditional British style. The piece features deep button-tufting across the fixed seat, backrest, and the prominent, outward-scrolled arms. The upholstery is a rich terracotta-toned leather look fabric. It is accompanied by three square scatter cushions. The sofa is intended to be supported by four turned wooden bun feet with a dark stained finish, which are currently detached. The design exhibits a low-profile silhouette characteristic of mid-to-late 20th-century upholstered furniture.

Condition report:
The sofa is in used condition with an aged patina throughout. The leather upholstery shows widespread creasing and surface scuffing. There are localized areas of significant colour wear, particularly on the leading edges of the scrolled arms and across the seat. The four wooden bun feet require attention. No visible rips or tears were observed on the leather surfaces from the provided angles.
