Description
An assortment of fashion and costume jewellery bracelets featuring various motifs and materials. The collection includes a Halcyon Days hinged bangle with a central black enamel band within silver-tone borders, the interior marked HALCYON DAYS with three royal warrant crests. Also present is a Yves Saint Laurent gold-tone hinged bangle featuring a central monogram motif with a circular-cut clear rhinestone. The animal-themed pieces comprise a black enamel and gold-tone panther bypass bangle with green stone eyes and clear rhinestones, a textured silver-tone panther head bypass bangle, a gold-tone flexible gaspipe link snake bracelet, and a wide black resin bangle with an applied gold-tone snake with a pavé-set rhinestone head. Decorative foliate and geometric designs include an articulated gold-tone bracelet with translucent green enamel scales, a large silver-tone foliate bracelet pavé-set with clear rhinestones, and a dark copper-tone openwork cuff with crescent moon and star motifs. Further items include a brass-tone bypass bangle with a layered metal flower, an ornate gold-tone bangle with etched scrollwork and red and black enamel panels, and a polished gold-tone circular bangle. Metal content and gemstone authenticity are untested.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good vintage to contemporary condition. Some pieces show minor surface scratches to enamel and resin components. Light tarnishing and wear to the gold-tone and silver-tone finishes are visible on several items, consistent with age and use. All hinges, bypass mechanisms, and clasps appear to be in functional order. Clear and coloured stones appear largely present, though they have not been individually checked for security.
