Description
A collection of four ladies’ wristwatches in various gold-toned styles. The first is a Sekonda quartz dress watch with a gold-tone case and a champagne dial featuring black baton hour markers and two hands. It is fitted with an integrated bracelet of repeating X and oval motifs and a fold-over clasp. The second is a Lorus quartz dress watch with a gold-tone case, textured shoulders, and a silver-tone sunburst dial with gold-tone baton markers and three hands. The dial is marked MOV’T AND DIAL JAP at the 6 o’clock position. It features a tapered mesh-style bracelet with an adjustable sliding clasp. The third is a Shanon quartz cocktail watch with a rectangular gold-tone case. The white dial has black Roman numerals and a stone-set centre. The bracelet is a four-row clear stone design in a gold-tone setting. The fourth is a vintage Oris cocktail watch with a gold-plated case and scalloped lugs. The aged dial features Arabic numerals at the poles and dot markers, marked SWISS MADE. It is fitted with a FIXO-FLEX expandable gold-tone bracelet.
Condition report:
The collection is offered in used condition with varying degrees of wear consistent with age. The Sekonda shows moderate plating wear to the edges of the case and bracelet. The Lorus has minor surface scratches and light plating wear. The Shanon watch exhibits visible wear and pitting to the gold-tone case. The vintage Oris displays significant plating loss, heavy dial patina with spotting, and scratches to the crystal. All watches are untested and sold as seen; quartz models likely require battery replacement.
