Description
This lot comprises an assortment of vintage electronic goods and photographic equipment. The collection includes a Yashica Electro 35 35mm rangefinder camera in a black finish, fitted with a Color-Yashinon DX 1:1.7 f=45mm lens. The top plate is inscribed ‘ELECTRO 35’ and the front features an atomic symbol device with the name ‘YASHICA’. Also present is a Minolta X-300 35mm SLR camera with a Minolta MD 50mm 1:1.7 lens, and a Minolta AF-E compact point-and-shoot camera featuring a 35mm 1:3.5 autofocus lens.
The electronic items include a Sony Walkman WM-22 stereo cassette player in a cream housing and a Casio TV-770 portable television. The television bears a rear adhesive label reading ‘CASIO MODEL TV-770D’ and ‘MADE IN MALAYSIA’, specifying a PAL TV system for the UK market. The lot further contains a Commodore scientific calculator in a brown plastic case with ‘commodore’ embossed on the front, and an Invicta Electronic Master Mind handheld game. Accessories include various leatherette cases, lens caps, and neck straps.
Condition report:
The Yashica Electro 35 shows significant brassing and paint loss to the edges of the black top plate and around the film advance lever (photo 5). The Sony Walkman WM-22 is missing its rear battery compartment cover (photo 3) and the plastic housing shows surface yellowing. The Minolta AF-E exhibits cosmetic scuffing to the plastic body (photo 7). The Invicta game has visible debris behind the display window (photo 7). All items are sold as seen; mechanical and electronic functions are untested.
