Description
This lot comprises a pair of large, open-fronted bookcases of traditional farmhouse construction, finished in a medium-toned wax. Each unit is built from solid pine, featuring a projecting square-edge cornice and a simple plinth base. The interior backboards are formed from vertical v-jointed tongue-and-groove planks. Both bookcases are fitted with pre-drilled holes to the internal sides for adjustable shelf supports, currently configured with a single thick shelf sitting atop multiple stored additional shelves. There are no visible maker’s marks, labels, or stamps present on the items.
