Lot 124:
Description
This lot comprises a chest of drawers constructed with a wooden carcass entirely clad in mirrored glass panels. The piece features a four-drawer configuration in a two-over-two arrangement, consisting of two smaller upper drawers above two full-width lower drawers. The top and side panels are finished in clear mirror glass, while the drawer fronts exhibit a textured, crushed-diamond effect finish. Each drawer is fitted with faceted clear glass crystal-style knobs, although one is missing from the second drawer down on the left-hand side. The unit is supported on four mirrored block feet. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Width 100.5cm, Depth 42cm, Height 75cm.
Condition report:
The mirrored chest is in fair condition. There is a missing drawer knob on the second drawer down on the left-hand side, which has left an exposed hole and visible adhesive residue on the textured surface (photo 1). The remaining glass panels appear intact without major chips or cracks visible in the provided angles, though the surfaces show an accumulation of dust and fingerprints throughout (photo 2).
