Description
A pair of large earthenware urns, each featuring a neoclassical footed form with a white crackle-glaze finish. Each urn is constructed with an ovoid body resting on a short pedestal and a tiered square plinth base. The removable domed lids are topped with tall, multi-tiered finials. The rims of the body, the base of the lids, and the upper section of the pedestal feet are decorated with raised beaded borders. The glaze exhibits a deliberate, uniform crazing effect across the entire surface of both pieces.
Height: 63 cm.
