Description
This lot comprises an assortment of industrial-grade chrome-plated steel wire shelving components. The collection includes a partially assembled four-post unit featuring three adjustable open-wire shelves, mounted via plastic split-sleeve tapered connectors. Also included is a stack of assorted loose wire shelves of matching dimensions, each fitted with corner collars for post mounting. A separate ladder-style end frame constructed from galvanised steel is present, featuring horizontal rungs designed for a hook-on modular system. The shelving is of a standard commercial design with notched vertical posts for height adjustment, suitable for catering or retail storage environments.
Condition report:
The items are in used industrial condition. The chrome-plated components show surface wear and light oxidation consistent with commercial use. The top of one vertical post on the assembled unit appears slightly out of alignment (photo 1). The galvanised ladder frame exhibits significant surface corrosion and rust, particularly along the upper horizontal bar (photo 2). The loose shelves show minor surface pitting and general wear but remain structurally sound (photo 2).
