Description
A full sheet of assorted Royal Mail 1st class definitive stamps featuring the Machin Head design. This lot comprises 50 self-adhesive stamps, each accompanied by a modern 2D data matrix security barcode. The stamps are printed in plum purple. The top margin includes a W1 cylinder or plate number at the left, and technical markings including an FSC logo reading MIX Paper FSC C023216, two barcodes, and a printed date of 08/04/22. The right margin features vertical printed text reading PLUM PURPLE and NVIF above a further barcode. The stamps are in mint unmounted condition with original gum and simulated perforations.
Condition report:
The sheet is in mint unmounted condition with no visible cancellations or postal use. Perforations are intact across the sheet. No evidence of creases, tears, or foxing is visible in the photographs.
